Samantha Hudson’s musical journey began back in 2008 when she joined forces with John Tierney, another talented musician, to form the band Zenith.
Zenith was known best for their haunting melodies and unforgettable sound. This, combined with Samantha’s powerful vocal range, caused their EP Fade to receive a great deal of interest on the scene. Tierney and Hudson eventually parted ways. Samantha stuck with the band set-up on her own, which lead to a final entry at Live and Unsigned in 2011.
‘Caught In A Storm’, which was recorded in 2010 with the help of the record label Soul Shaker, was Samantha’s solo introduction to the dance music scene. The hit track reached number 8 in the official dance charts then number 12 in the American Dance Charts gaining Samantha global acclaim for her music artistry. ‘Caught In A Storm’ showcases Samantha’s vocal ability perfectly. Soulful, captivating and emotive, Samantha boasts an impressively diverse sound which could span a multitude of genres.
Currently working on her solo album Samantha has enlisted a number of talented producers to bring her vocals to life. If her track with Mike Cooling, ‘Midnight Blue’ is anything to go by Samantha’s debut solo album is going to be incredible. Find out more from Samantha Hudson below.
