The Logues are a traditional Irish band with a unique contemporary twist

The Logues are a diverse and energetic folk band from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, whose sound is progressive, catchy and wildly unforgettable.

Gathering a few interesting interpretations along the way, The Logues have been described as “psycho ceilidh“, “whiskey-soaked folk” and just plain old “partying music“. Their unique sound, although coining a few terms of its own, is cemented classically by their traditional Irish roots. Tin whistles and Celtic guitar rhythms ring prominently throughout, adding to the playful and energetic melodies.

Since forming in 2006, The Logues have been steadily making a name for themselves. Performing with influential artists such as UB40, Shane Filan, Smokie, Susie Quattro and The Saw Doctors, it wasn’t long before The Logues were signed to Ireland’s most respected booking agency, AMA. With a number of impressive shows behind them, The Logues Coming of Age album went to number 20 on the iTunes chart.

The Logues, ‘Yvonne John’, is the perfect example of what the band are all about. The uplifting track is fast paced and bound to keep you on your toes. The ever-changing sporadic rhythms and tempos make for an unforgettable experience.
