Nicolas Maul, otherwise known as Maul Musik, is a German artist who writes catchy acoustic pop songs. Maul writes his lyrics in German, though he often covers songs in English. His debut EP Auf und Davon was released at the end of 2015. The three track EP is available on all major online music outlets such as iTunes, Amazon, and Google play.
Maul has since been working on his second EP which he hopes to release this spring. In the meantime, he has been recording some acoustic covers. Currently, on his YouTube, you can hear his cover of Foo Fighters ‘Everlong‘, which you can watch above, and John Mayer‘s ‘Belief‘.
His next release is a fantastic cover of ‘Gone‘ by Jack Johnson. The song is perfect for him and showcases his fantastic vocals while he also skillfully plays the guitar.
Maul is an exciting talent that we can’t wait to hear more from. Judging from his last EP and his new covers, his next EP is going to be great.
