PREMIERE: Partland Is Back With New Single

Galway long-stay Partland is back from the lockdown with his brand new single. Delayed to pay respect to the hard work everyone had to do, the time has now come to turn our attention to something fantastic. Fans will remember the album Sing Me To The Shore, which naturally received plenty of acclaim. Described by Pure M as “Extremely stirring and engrossingly passionate”, Partland has found a niche he slots right into. Taken from the forthcoming sophomore album, After The Movie has been made along with a brilliant stop-frame animation film cunningly produced by the artist himself.

The song starts with a piano and acoustic guitar. Partland’s voice joins in on the first note as lyrics leads the amplitude gradually up the hill. A groove ensues and the drums bring out a direction towards the dance floor while smooth and ballad-like projections of the words keep a calm atmosphere. As a chorus rolls through, an impassioned and sentimental forward thrust pushes us through the other side of the silver screen. Orchestral fills and harmonies resonate with Partland’s powerful voice to project the cinematic sound into long-term memory.
