Psychedelic soul band SHADEEMUS releases latest ep Dagobah, ft latest single ‘House of Craft’

SHADEEMUS (Sha-dee-mus) Originally composed of Scott Xylo, a British producer & Songwriter of Jamaican descent and Adam, a Welsh guitarist. Based in Leicester, they began by playing Xylo’s solo music but later grew into a trio after meeting Demigosh, an Irish vocalist and performance artist at a gig in London. That chance encounter birthed SHADEEMUS.

House of Craft is a melancholic groove blending Rock, Jazz, Trip Hop and Soul on a vintage 90s tapestry heavily influenced by Portishead, Tricky and King Krule. The haunting wailing, lone piano and romantic strings by Scott Xylo sets the neo noir mood as Demi Gosh spills off his drug induced thoughts, talking about his addictions and toxic tendencies to his love. The song crescendos to an emotional guitar solo by Adam Martin which then fades to infinity. The song is a part of a bigger EP called Dagobah, inspired by the Star Wars planet which will be the 5th EP from the psychedelic alternative soul band SHADEEMUS. The EP follows the dark introspective themes with songs like Otherside and Inferno showcasing the groups grungy influences, while Stone Cold and Reflections offer a blend of melancholic soul, bluesy jazz with a vintage groove that you can tap your feet to.
