Sean Doron and THEUSS Join Forces on ‘Hold Out’ for Mind Against’s HABITAT Label

Brazilian producer THEUSS has made his debut on HABITAT, the label curated by Mind Against, with a brand new collaboration alongside Israeli artist Sean Doron. The track, Hold Out, is part of the freshly released METAFLORA III compilation — a carefully selected series that showcases rising and established names in melodic house and techno.

And what a debut it’s been. Hold Out was recently played by Pete Tong during the closing set of IMS Ibiza 2025 — a huge moment that was picked up by DJ Mag Brasil and is already putting the spotlight on this promising collaboration.

The track is a hypnotic and tension-filled production, merging melodic layers with a deep rhythmic groove. Over the course of seven minutes, Hold Out unfolds with analogue synth textures, moody vocals and a thick, immersive drum line — capturing both the subtle sophistication of THEUSS and the driving energy of Sean Doron.

“The track came together in a really natural way,” says THEUSS. “Sean heard a few of my tracks and suggested we collaborate. I’d say Hold Out represents a more mature stage of my sound — something aligned with the kind of dancefloor I see myself playing in the future.”

Announced on 19 April, METAFLORA III also features fresh material from Mind Against themselves, as well as Yet More, Hardt Antoine, Tim Engelhardt, Sam Shure, SKALA, Upercent, EdOne and others who are carving out their space in the global scene. The compilation is all about originality — a curated selection of tracks with distinctive identities, aimed at refined dancefloors and immersive listening spaces. A vinyl edition is due out later this summer.

Sean Doron is no stranger to the global circuit. He’s co-founder of the SCENARIOS collective, alongside Maga, Emanuel Satie and Tim Engelhardt, and has played at top-tier parties and clubs like Rumors and Pacha Ibiza. His releases on Rose Avenue, Siamese and All Day I Dream have cemented his reputation for balancing elegance with impact.

THEUSS, meanwhile, is quickly becoming a name to watch from Brazil’s electronic music landscape. With a sound that blends precision, depth and emotion, he’s been supported by major players including KEINEMUSIK (Rampa, &ME, Adam Port), Black Coffee, WhoMadeWho and Andhim. He’s performed at events like Piknic Electronik, D-Edge, Warung Beach Club Tour and Privilège, and recently expanded his reach to the US and Portugal.

Hold Out is now available across all major platforms — including Spotify, Apple Music and Beatport — as part of METAFLORA III, which is shaping up to be one of the standout releases of the year for fans of modern house and techno.

With his inclusion in this influential compilation, THEUSS is stepping into a broader international spotlight — signalling future collaborations and a clear push into the global scene.
