‘Storm’ sees Rumara captivate with upbeat vocals and catchy beats

Rumara are an electronic pop duo from South London.

Their stage name is derived from the Portuguese word Rumar, which means to move towards and this reflects their sound, which is inspired by film scores, pop anthems and dark wave electronica.

The duo consists of vocalist Laura V and producer Yujin Matsutoya.

Laura and Yujin met in their teens, whilst playing in bands with guitars.

They have just unveiled the video for their debut single ‘Storm’, which is the title track from their forthcoming EP which is set for release later this year.

‘Storm’ begins with unique harmonies from Laura which flows alongside a heavy bass melody.

Once the track hits its stride, Laura captivates with upbeat vocals whilst Yujin delivers catchy beats.
