UK Solo Artist Marq Electronica Is Back With ‘Crazy Fool’

Marq Electronica is bringing his charisma and humour to dance music. His songs are tinged with a little wit; even a touch of dark humour here and there. Previous singles include ‘Wildlife’, which is a tongue-in-cheek study of human nature, comparing human beings to the the title.

Latest single ‘Crazy Fool’ is about accepting you’re falling for someone beyond all reason. Marq burst on to the scene only last year as a solo act. Before then, he has performed as part of rock-synth-pop trio Sapien Trace. Marq explains his journey into solo work and his influences:

“I’ve organised musical events and performed for over a decade now and finally got the confidence to release my solo material. Through the belief and support of my bandmates and fellow local artists.

My sound is influenced heavily by RnB and electronic artists from Missy Elliott to Daft Punk, Fever Ray to Goldfrapp and amazing groups like Massive Attack.”

‘Crazy Fool’ is out now on all the major digital platforms, and there’s a mesmerising video too:
