‘Waste Away The Day With Me’ delivers catchy melodies that flow beautifully with murloe’s sweet vocals

murloe is a up and coming UK artist who describes her music as wonky pop.

Whilst growing up she was surrounded with eclectic music, which ranged from jazz to funk to 80s pop and synth.

Music was a big part of her life and murloe’s first gig was during her preteens at The Grey Music Lounge in Tunbridge Wells.

At 17 murloe relocated to London to start a degree at BIMM and she also made the time to perform at open mic events and also partake in collaborations, all of which helped hone her craft.

murloe has graced the stages of prominent London venues such as Notting Hill Arts Club and The Troubadour.

Lockdown led to murloe releasing her debut single ‘Polarised’ in the summer of 2020 and now she has just unveiled her third single ‘Waste Away The Day With Me’.

murloe describes it as an authentic and realistic take of what it’s like to be close to somebody in today’s world, both physically and emotionally.

‘Waste Away The Day With Me’ is melodically reminscent of ‘White Noise’ by Disclosure, which is one of the artists that inspires murloe.

The track delivers catchy melodies that flow beautifully with murloe’s sweet vocals, which are similar to AlunaGeorge‘s vocals from ‘White Noise’.
