Watch EP freestyle about every passenger on the London Underground

Ed Parshotam is a London-based rapper who is renowned for his quick wit and incredible freestyle ability.

Known to many on the UK hip-hop scene simply as EP, he is rapidly proving that he’s a force to be reckoned with. Winner of the Hammer & Tongue Hackney poetry slam, EP found himself performing at the Royal Albert Hall at the Hammer & Tongue national slam. In addition to this, the MC was a contestant in the 2007 Jumpoff World Rap Championships where he took home the titles for; ‘Number 1 Flip’, ‘Number 3 Punchline’ and ‘Number 10 Punchline’. This early breakthrough in this musical journey was crucial and earned him praise and recognition from the Grammy-nominated guest reviewer Joe Budden.

In EP’s latest video he uses his slick bars to deliver a unique rap about each individual person on the London Underground. Going from one end of the train to the other he cleverly rhymes about passengers clothes, possessions and actions creating a completely spontaneous track.

Aside from his improvisation skills, Parshotam is the co-organiser of the London freestyle hip-hop night, ‘On the Spot‘. To hear more from this up and coming rapper head over to his Bandcamp and SoundCloud page where you can grab some of his tracks.
