Deemed “The heroes British rock needs right now” by The Huffington Post, Hunter & The Bear are making a big noise on the UK rock scene.
The four-piece powerhouse was initially only comprised of lead vocalist, Will Irvine, and lead guitarist, Jimmy Hunter. Further down the line, drummer and bassist, Gareth Johnson and Chris Clark joined and the final pieces of the puzzle fell into place.
The band burst onto the scene back in 2014 when they supported Eric Clapton at his performances in the SSE Hydro in Glasgow and the Leeds Arena. Since then, the group have been focussing on their London shows and touring extensively in the UK and Europe.
Their self-released debut album, Paper Heart, dropped 12th May and has since launched the band into the limelight. Now, Hunter & The Bear are pushing their electrifying mix of folk rock, tight harmonies and explosive energy to the forefront of the rock scene.
