Watch Joelle cover the iconic Cyndi Lauper classic ‘True Colors’

Joelle is a British singer-songwriter with a beautifully instinctive passion for writing her own unique songs, alongside covering some of her favourite classics. Joelle began her musical career at just 12-years-old whilst visiting America with her family. The multi-Grammy Award winning mixer Phil Tan, who has worked with the likes of Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Coldplay and Selena Gomez, referred Joelle to renowned vocal coach Peggy Johnson, and what happened next was inevitable.

Having made numerous television and radio appearances in the UK and her mini viral music video, ‘Big In LA’, which amassed a quarter of a million views, Joelle became a highly anticipated new artist. A flourishing young artist now working with Daniel Thomas, a vocal coach to the Brit Award-winning group Girls AloudJoelle began to garner an impressive presence online with 1000’s of fans supporting her.

The North London singer was diagnosed with Alopecia Universalis at 8-years-old. Opening up about her condition, Joelle claims the early years were the worst, but things got better and made her stronger as a person. In addition to being an extremely talented singer, Joelle has also held numerous seminars promoting her bullying awareness message. Most notably was her appearance at the largest state school in NYC during Bullying Awareness Week where she was given the opportunity to discuss these pressing issues with thousands of students.

You can hear the passion in her voice, especially in her cover of Cyndi Lauper‘s ‘True Colors’. Her soft and sweet rendition delivers new meaning to the original song – and we can’t wait to hear more.
