Kristofer Greczula is a talented Swedish singer-songwriter who’s always had a passion for music and dance.
Ever since he was 4-years-old, Kristofer has always been obsessed with music. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Michael Jackson, Kristofer began his musical journey by mimicking and recreating the iconic singer’s performances. It was only two years later, when Kristofer was six, that he began to enter musical talent shows impersonating the late, great Michael Jackson where he garnered himself success across Sweden. Fast forward 10 years and Kristofer had secured himself a major contract at Lionheart Records (now Capitol / Universal) with his rock band, Damn Delicious. Following his life changing contract signing, Kristofer’s musical career began to fly. He was now performing with Damn Delicious across Sweden and securing slots at major festivals, such as the highly regarded Sweden Rock festival.
After an extensive history touring and 500+ performances under his belt, Kristofer decided it was time to kickstart his solo career. Influenced by some of the most supreme artists in history, both artistically and musically, Kristofer channels the sounds of Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith and The Beatles into his work. Although inspired by the greats, Kristofer has his finger on the pulse of contemporary music and pays tribute to the likes of Alicia Keys, Adele, Ryan Adams and Daft Punk through his expressive sound.
With the release of his debut single, ‘Taste’, on the horizon, Kristofer is gearing up to take on the world. Written by himself, Adam Jönsson and the Swedish star producers, Nadir & Saeed (The Euroz), ‘Taste’ is an eclectic mix of pop, rock, and dance, with references to the 60’s and 70’s with a modern touch. The video for “Taste” is set to be recorded in New York in early May by Joakim Carlsson. Production of the video will be carried out by the renowned GOODCOMPANY which has produced videos for the likes of Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Madonna, Kanye West, Pharell Williams, Kendrick Lamar and more.
To tide you over until the release of ‘Taste’ on 26th May, Kristofer has shared his cover of ‘Make You Feel My Love’ (Bob Dylan/Adele). His influences shine through into his vocals, elegantly gliding elegantly over his beautifully smooth piano backdrop. He makes this cover his own and proves once again that he’s a rising talent that shouldn’t be slept on.
