Rauli V releases another single out to the world, “Problems,” available on DSP, December 3, 2021. This is the third single off his upcoming EP, Breathe, out January 28, 2022. This single deep dives into the inner dark thoughts of Rauli V. From doubts to loneliness, Rauli V expresses what it’s like to constantly deal with all the negative thoughts that wander throughout your mind. Sometimes these thoughts take over and make you regret your decisions. As a result, you feel like you can’t ask for help and don’t want to burden others.
“Miserable, broken, and alone are three words that come to mind when describing my new track, “Problems”. This track takes me to a time where I pushed everyone away when all they did was try to pull me up from my lowest moment. Every time I hear this song I get chills and it reminds me to put my mental health first above all. This visual pairing is one of my proudest videos. I get a chance to bring you into the best confessional everyone has access to…the barbershop. Dominican barbershops are such an amazing part of the culture no matter the age. So many stories are exchanged here and barbers usually are the first to get the tea. This specific barbershop in the video is my close friend Miguel’s shop in Takoma Park, MD called, “Dominican Power”. – Rauli V
