Wireless Festival 2021: On-Stage Energy and Backstage Buzz With Nando’s

After being scheduled for July 2020 and inevitably postponed until September 2021, being back at Wireless festival felt like a long time coming. Already seeing the excitement upon leaving Crystal Palace station, it was destined to be an electric weekend.

Set up in its brand new location at Crystal Palace Park, London, there was a short walk between the main stage, and slightly smaller palace stage, with both delivering top performances from the stellar line ups. Making a surprise arrival, Drake graced the stage with Future on Friday night, adding extra heat to the opening day, which also saw the likes of Giggs and Lil Uzi Vert perform. The second day was just as dynamic, and in true British festival fashion, mosh pits were not amiss. Sparks flew for viral artist ArrDee, and headliner Skepta came out jumping, getting the crowd hyped in seconds. Sunday saw Megan Thee Stallion take the Wireless crown, as she mingled with the lively crowd during fan favourite single ‘Body’. It’s safe to say, each and every artist put on an epic show.

Nando’s were backstage at Wireless throughout the weekend, and provided many famous faces with well needed fuel in between sets and during some festival down time. Maya Jama, Ms Banks, Tion Wayne and various Love Islanders were just a few seen feasting on PERi-PERi backstage, with Drake also getting in on the Nando’s action ordering 500 wings, 250 thighs, 30 chips and 150 garlic breads. With both Nando’s and live music, what more could you want for an end of summer celebration?

Making its highly anticipated return, Wireless 2021 was perhaps the best yet.
