Bosa Silva is a hip hop duo based in Madrid, Spain. Bosa is a lifetime storyteller from Philadelphia. He began rapping at the age of 17 mainly because he couldn’t sing. He loves all styles of music but his first love was R&B. In his rap lyrics he tries to capture the funky sounds of his father’s favorite singers, while having the fun vibe of his mother’s New Jack Swing icons. After finishing college at Syracuse University he moved to NYC to work in Journalism but he quickly saw that he wanted to tell his own story as opposed to writing the stories of others. In 2012 he moved to Madrid where he met Silva.
Silva is a dancing fanatic from London. In his early 20s he took a banking job and found himself in a similar as Bosa. He wanted an adventure and something new. He moved to Spain where he became a big part of the hip-hop dance scene. He’s the type of guy that knows everyone in the city.
Now Bosa Silva have created a new groovy sound that has gotten their city, Madrid, up and ready to move. The duo produces their own videos on their youtube channel. They love to create and spread positivity through their work.
