Cricket Captains are a indie pop-rock band from Moscow, Russia.
They formed in 2013 and have released music through Xuman Records, the band have also collaborated with popular brands such as Levi’s and Adidas.
In 2019 Cricket Captains were the opening act for the Bon Jovi concert in Moscow, Russia, where they performed a five song set and this featured some of their most popular tracks: Cyclone Party, Always Surrounded and Dreaming Away.
This set treated us to Cricket Captains uplifting and energetic sound as they hyped up the crowd for Bon Jovi with their up tempo track ‘Cyclone Party’, which delivers energetic riffs towards the end of the track.
‘Always Surrounded’ has a slower and smoother feel to it in places with the beautiful sound of the guitar and the delightful vocal stylings of Cricket Captains.
The band conclude their set with ‘Dreaming Away’, as they go all out with truly stunning guitar riffs and energetic vocals that deliver lyrics which have a nostalgic vibe to them.
