Emma Muscat delves deeper, finding more behind the music

Emma Muscat is a 17-year-old Maltese singer-songwriter and pianist with an amazingly diverse vocal range. Born into a musical family, Emma inherited an undying passion for music and began learning the piano at the age of five. Emma’s compelling musical expertise became immediately obvious to those around her as she developed her sound and grew as an artist. She possesses a strong and versatile vocal ability, which helps her adapt to a multitude of different styles and genres.

Emma began touring the Maltese islands at the age of 14 when she teamed up with guitarist and producer Keith ‘Kiko’ Muscat and recorded her own rendition of Alicia Keys’, ‘If I Aint Got You’. The inspiring feedback Emma received spurred her on to try and quench the thirst she’d tasted for the stage. Fast forward to 2016 and Emma has travelled far and wide performing and was even invited to perform the National Anthem to the Foreign Heads of State and the Maltese Cabinet to celebrate the 450th Anniversary of Malta’s Victory in the Great Siege of 1565.

Emma pours her feelings and emotions into her sound – be them positive or negative. The Maltese singer’s latest single ‘Alone’ plays on the insecurities and fears many of us feel and the inner strength it takes to overcome them: an absolute must-listen.
