Experience Cathartic Fall’s Emotional Soundscapes and Live Poetry in a One-of-a-Kind Listening Party Featuring Famous Poets

Cathartic Fall, the solo project of chart-topping producer Jeoff Harris, is gearing up for an exclusive online listening party to celebrate the re-release of his self-titled debut album, featuring some of today’s most influential voices in poetry and mental healthThe event will be streamed live on YouTube on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 7:00 PM CT, and is free for all to attend!

Jeoff Harris, who has produced RIAA-certified hits for artists across the pop and indie spectrum, uses Cathartic Fall to explore deeply personal themes of grief, loss, anxiety, and emotional growth through immersive ambient soundscapes. The debut album Cathartic Fall was released earlier this year, and it made waves as a project dedicated to emotional catharsis and release. The upcoming album expands on these themes, with the added dimension of collaborations with some of today’s most influential figures in poetry and mental health.

The album features collaborations with an incredible lineup of renowned poets… and these famous writers and mental health advocates will be in attendance at the event! Each of them has written profound spoken word poems over Cathartic Fall’s soundscapes from the previous album.

Matthias J Barker, a psychotherapist known for making complex mental health concepts accessible to his audience of over 4 million, brings his expertise on healing and family dynamics. Whitney Hanson, a 23-year-old poet and author of Home, Climate, and Harmony, offers her raw and vulnerable approach to poetry, connecting deeply with her readers. Allie Michelle, a 3x bestselling author and co-founder of the women’s wellness community We Are Warriors, blends ancient wisdom with poetic storytelling and has inspired thousands through her spoken word performances. Finally, Trev Cimenski brings his minimalist yet profound observations of everyday life, with his poetry collections Somewhat Small and Orangutan Teeth captivating readers through their simplicity and relatability. Together, these creators add depth and emotional resonance to the immersive soundscapes of Cathartic Fall as they each take on a soundscape from the original release and lend their stunning spoken word to the album.

The album’s featured poets will be hearing the completed project for the first time alongside the audience, making it a rare moment of live artistic discovery. The album will also serve a greater cause—50% of the streaming proceeds from the first ten days on Spotify will be donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), further underscoring the project’s dedication to mental health awareness and advocacy.

The event promises to be more than just a listening session; it will bring together a global audience of music and poetry lovers—boasting over 11 million followers across social platforms. Attendees can expect a powerful blend of spoken word poetry, mental health insights, and cinematic music, offering a unique, emotional experience unlike any other. Be sure to mark your calendars for this special event, we’re definitely not going to miss it!
