Introducing… The Harpejji

Brought to you by Marcodi Musical Products, the Harperjji is a guitar-piano hybrid. It was developed in 2007 by entrepreneur Tim Meeks and bridges the gap between strings and keys perfectly.

With a sound that’s more similar to a guitar than a piano, yet played as a pianist would with both hands, this harp-like instrument covers new grounds for musical composition. The Harpejji comes in a variety of different equally appealing models – the K24, for the more experimental musician and the G16, for more convenient transportation and a simpler layout.

The K24, coming in at 38.5” by 13.5”, comprises 24 strings, 15 frets, 5 full octaves, 2 Audio Outputs (Bass & Treble), Master Volume & Tone for upper strings. Meeks also brings you the smaller model, the 16, measuring 32.1” by 10.2” consisting of sixteen strings, nineteen frets, 4 full octaves, 1 Audio Output, Master Volume & Tone.

The Isomorphic Harpejji has the ability to perfectly compliment any home studio and comes in a variety of fully customisable slick finishes. You can check out the innovative instrument  in action being used by the one and only Stevie Wonder covering his own ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’.
