Born in Southern California and raised in a small logging town in Oregon comes a unique talent…. Johnny (Wheels) Kennicott grew up playing drums, guitar, and bass, listening to Classic Rock, Hair Bands, Southern Rock, anything with mascara and distorted guitars or awesome guitar solo.
Inspired by his father, who played bass and sang and was the most important influence Johnny had in becoming a musician. Life changed dramactically in 1996 when a swimming accident changed everything and he found himself paralyzed from the chest down.
Determined not to be held down, music became a place he could go and be free. While being determined to not slow down or be stopped he would discover the blues and music that ”touches my soul and frees my mind” and start singing more then ever.
Now with his harmonica in hand and armed with a voice truley of his own, Johnny Wheels is ready to bring his music to anyone anywhere…
