Justin Bieber has challenged Hollywood acting legend, Tom Cruise, 56, to a UFC fight.
The pop sensation kicked off his day tweeting a promise to fans that new music was on the way.
Things then took a turn for the weird when, out of nowhere, the Biebs put out a post that said: “I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the Octagon. If you don’t take this fight you’re scared and will never live it down.” Bieber followed this up by tagging UFC president Dana White, asking if he would be willing to host the fight.

However, it was Conor McGregor who first responded to the request, writing: “If Tom Cruise is man enough to accept this challenge, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout. Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight, like he does in the movies? Stay tuned to find out!”

The challenge sparked a frenzy on social media with fans keen to see the match come to fruition. One fan went as far as to put out statistics comparing the famous pair’s age, height, established reach and net worth.
The Mission Impossible star is yet to comment on the posts, but many on social media believed Cruise would have no problem handling himself in a fight, given his stunt training for countless films over the years. One commented: “I would pay American currency to watch Tom Cruise beat the absolute s**t out of Justin Bieber.”
