Laren Taylor covers James Bay, ‘Let it go’.

Laren Taylor

Boston native, Laren Taylor, only started singing and playing two years ago but is already laying the groundwork for a career in music. She’s no stranger to the big stage having already performed on the “Girls Rule Tour”, opened for Comedian Steve Sweeney and sung the US National Anthem at Fenway Park Boston’s beloved baseball field.

As well as music and acting, Laren, alongside a few others, launched an anti-bullying campaign called “Boston’s Got Voices”.  Their mission is to help young people recognise their unique value and influence; building confidence and perspective to utilise their talents in a unified stand against bullying and other social oppression. Pretty impressive for fifteen years old.

Influenced by the likes of Alessia Cara, James Bay and Shawn Mendes, Laren’s soulful voice brims with potential. James Bay is no easy act to cover but Taylor glides through effortlessly with her soaring vocals.

Laren has just recorded two songs “Who Says” and “I don’t know what I’m doing” and we can’t wait to hear them.
