Liam Gallagher wants to be the next UK Prime Minister

Days after former Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher gave his views on the current state of British politics – which included some choice words for Jeremy Corbyn and the suggestion that those protesting the outcome of Brexit should “go to North Korea”- brother Liam Gallagher has announced that he would like to become the next prime minister.

Tory leadership candidates Michael Gove and Rory Stewart’s recent admission of past drug usage, as well as Boris Johnson remaining tight-lipped as to the precise number of how many children he has, were all fodder for Liam as he took to Twitter to outline why he should be the next PM.

The comment from the 46-year old comes as the second round of voting in the Tory leadership contest kicks off today, where eventually one will be chosen as the next Conservative leader and successor to current prime minister, Theresa May

Liam followed up his initial tweet ten minutes later with his presumed campaign slogan, which read: “ParLIAMent c’mon you know.”

Asked what his first decision as Prime Minister would be, Liam had Oasis fans across the country in mind, tweeting: “Get Oasis back together. I’d make it law.”
