London-based duo Ferris & Sylvester are best known for their catchy folk setup and ’60s rock ‘n’ roll inflected sound. The pair met just over two years ago and have been creating truly beautiful music together ever since. Performing for Music Crowns, the pair put their spin on The Kinks’ hit track, ‘Waterloo Sunset‘ and delivered a bluesy reimagining, crammed with silky guitar licks and chunky harmonies. Watch below.
February was a fruitful month for the UK musicians as it saw the release of their highly anticipated album, Made In Streatham. The LP, which the pair recorded in their South London home, was released via their own imprint, Archtop Records and has since racked up over two million Spotify streams.
Keep an eye out for Ferris & Sylvester this year as whilst they will be recording their next project, they will also be taking their bluesy, soul-tinged sound on the road for a number of live dates.
