Mixcloud have launched a new subscription service called Mixcloud Select.
The service will offer a new source of revenue for the streaming platform and will also aim to better pay artists and channel owners.
“We want to enable fans to get closer to the culture and communities they care about, while ensuring that everyone involved in the creative process is recognised and rewarded accordingly,” said Mixcloud’s Nick Perez announcing the new service.
Perks for Mixcloud Select subscribers include the ability to download mixes for offline listening and access to tracklists. Subscriptions begin at £2.99/month, with creators given the option to adjust the price as they see fit.
