Nesbeth keeps roots reggae alive with latest single My Dream

If you’re feeling worse for wear of late, Nesbeth offers a few words of encouragement through his latest effort.

Released last month, “My Dream” features the Reggae star’s turbulent life in Jamaica before reaching his goals and aspirations. The three-and-a-half minute recording oozes a modern spin on roots reggae with a dash of the Middle Eastern flair.

Since releasing his first single, “Reflection of Love” in 1993, sky was beyond the limit for this West Kingstonian. He became an infectious force at festivals and shows in Canada, Antigua, Saint Kitts, Anguilla, Grenada, Germany, United Kingdom as well as his birth country, clocking up local and international fans along the way.

His fame reached new heights with the release of EP “Victory” in 2014. Lead single “Taste Victory” dominated the charts in Jamaica, stealing the number one spot in the country’s countdown charts. The reggae root-drench/Bob Marley-esque single was also a big hit overseas, becoming a firm fixture in the UK reggae charts.
