For this outing, Nine Deeez Nite, which has long been a staple of the theater’s riveting Duel of the Decades shows, will set aside the tournament format for an entire evening dedicated to ’90s music and culture. In its fan-pleasing tribute, the group will showcase hits across numerous genres that helped define the decade.

The Wellmont Theater’s 2020 edition of the Duel of the Decades tournament will also begin with a battle of the ’70s vs. ’80s on Feb. 28. The next round picks up between the ’90s vs. Y2K on May 15. A consolation round is slated for Oct. 2, while the championship will be held Dec. 5.
