Nipsey Hussle has died after being shot multiple times while outside his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles, TMZ report.
The West Coast hip-hop artist, whose real name is Ermias Davidson Asghedom, collaborated with Drake on the track ‘Killer’ in 2009 and appeared on Snoop Dogg’s Malice in Wonderland in 2010. His debut album, Victory Lap, was released last year and featured appearances from Kendrick Lamar, YG, Diddy, Cee-Lo Green and The-Dream. The album received a nomination for best rap album at this year’s Grammy Awards, where he was nominated against Cardi B, Mac Miller, Pusha T and Travis Scott.
Artists including Drake, Rihanna, J Cole and Pharrell have paid tribute to the Los Angeles rapper.
