Paul Cahalane shares cover of Grease favourite ‘Alone at the drive-in’

Twenty nine year old singer songwriter, Paul Cahalane, did what so many budding artists dream of doing; ditched his full-time job as an electrician to pursue a career a in music. Influenced by everyone from Oasis to Elvis, Cahalane now spends his time gigging relentlessly around Belfast, both on his own and as the lead guitarist in a band.

In addition to his live performances, the Northern Ireland native has been hard at work with his debut EP entitled ‘the.’, which is now available on iTunes. The four track demo comes as a teaser to his forthcoming album.

Calahane’s slick vocals and earthy, gritty guitar groove captures Grease’s 1950s glory perfectly, and in in doing so has created one of his most accomplished and delightful covers to date.
