Prince‘s estate have confirmed the forthcoming release of a new album, featuring demo versions of songs written by the pop icon for other artists.
The 15-track LP, called Originals, is set to stream on Tidal from the 7th to the 20th of June.
By 21st June, the album will be available for physical release via Warner Bros.

The album is set to include Prince’s original takes on Sheila E.’s ‘The Glamorous Life’ and the Bangles’ ‘Manic Monday’, Vanity 6’s ‘Make-Up’ and Kenny Rogers’ ‘You’re My Love’, as we as Prince’s original version of ‘Nothing Compares 2 U,’ which went on to become Sinead O’Connor’s mammoth hit in 1990.
Originals’ announcement comes just days after Prince’s memoir cover was unveiled.
The book, set to be published via Random House on 29th October in collaboration with Prince’s estate, features a young photograph of the singer holding a camera.
