Having recently gotten down to the final 6 girls, before unfortunately missing out on a spot in the live finals of this year’s XFactor, 21 year old Brightonian Chloe Paige is back.
Launching her YouTube channel with a tear-jerking rendition of Adele’s comeback single ‘Hello’, Chloe commented on her Facebook:
“I told you guys I’d be back.
I’m pleased to share with you my cover of Adele’s ‘Hello’, which is a song that I feel very connected to.
That might sound strange to say as it was only released recently, but the first time I heard it I was going through a situation in my personal life, and the lyrics to this song mirrored exactly what I was feeling. In the days before Adele released this song I had been trying to reach out to someone who meant a lot to me, but had had any response. I wasn’t expecting to hear something that would resonate so deeply, and I’m not ashamed to say that it had me in floods of tears on that first listen, and since that moment I knew that I had to do my own version.
I hope that you all like my take on this beautiful anthem, and get as much from it as I do.
