The late Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly will embark on a UK tour – in the form of holograms.
A hologram tour of Orbison took place last year, with the long-awaited live dates taking place back in April.
The digital reincarnation of the ‘Pretty Woman’ singer is set to return to the UK this October, joined by a hologram of Buddy Holly and a full live band which has been billed the ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Dream Tour’.
Fans in the UK and Europe will be able to watch the same show simultaneously – bar the live performers onstage – as BASE Hologram, the company behind the hologram technology, will run concurrent shows of the same holograms.
The tour will kick off in Dublin on 7th October, concluding with a performance at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on the 24th October – check out the full dates below:
