We spend so much of our time running from one thing to another, staying busy with this and that and we lose focus on the important things like our family and friends.
This song was written in the hopes of making people think about taking time to spend a little more focused time (without checking in to Twitter or Facebook or whatever) with their loved ones. The ones that mean a lot to them. You can’t get that time back and when it goes, when you lose your loved ones, you realise that you can never have enough time with them. The rest is secondary.
This song was written out of Troy’s sadness over the loss of his Brother-in-Law Tom to suicide and his Mother Katie Horne to cancer.
