Justin Timberlake gave one 88-year-old superfan the surprise of her life during his recent Man Of The Woods tour stop.
The ‘Say Something‘ singer wanted to meet the special grandma, real name Bette Maloney but known to many as Nammie, backstage before his Amway Center show. Nammie became an internet star back in April after a video of her sharing her excitement about her J.T tickets emerged online. After the singer found out about this he just had to meet her.
During their meet-and-greet, Nammie presented Justin with a hand-crafted shirt for his three-year-old son Silas Timberlake and she even got a kiss on the cheek. Watch the Mark Nguyen-shot MOTW tour footage below.
Sarah Watson, Maloney’s granddaughter, took to Instagram to share some snaps from the magical moment. Check out her heartfelt message and pics below.
He’s a class act, y’all. Humbled by and beyond grateful for all the love shown to sweet Nammie tonight. @justintimberlake was kind, lovely and wayyyyyy cute in person. Best night ever, and FOR SURE best concert we’ve ever seen. // Can’t say nicer things about the team at @amwaycenter. We were taken care of by Tonya, Alex and Cat (on her first night as an intern!) and later by Jacoby, all of whom couldn’t have been more delightful. Tonight also wouldn’t have been the night it was without Angela and Johnny from Wright Entertainment Group. B E Y O N D grateful. #motwtour #manofthewoods
During the show the ‘Cry Me A River‘ singer even gave the lucky fan a shout out telling the crowd: “There was a pretty little lady that ended up on the news here by the name of Nammie. She is 88 years old. I met her earlier tonight. Wherever you are in the audience tonight…There she is. I love you!” Check out footage of that below.
