Metallica’s James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett performed the National Anthem before Game 3 of the 2019 NBA Finals last night (Wednesday 5th June).
The two musicians took to the court wearing “Strength in Numbers” black t-shirts, referencing the Golden State Warrior‘s motto for the season.

The two are from the Bay Area and have played the anthem before at both Warriors and San Francisco Giants games.
Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z were spotted sitting courtside in support of the Warriors.
