Watch Morrissey play The Smiths’ ‘I Won’t Share You’ live for the first time ever

Morrissey ended his seven-night Broadway residency with a bang, featuring a setlist that included a live debut of The Smiths’ song, ‘I Won’t Share You’.

According to Smiths’ fan site Passions Just Like Mine and Setlist.fm, the track, which closes the group’s final album, Strangeways Here We Come, has never been performed by The Smiths or by Morrisey as a solo. Watch the performance below.

Saturday night saw the final night of Morrisey’s Broadway run at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, New York City.

Morrisey opened his final Broadway night with ‘Last of the Famous International Playboys’, and went on to perform hits like ‘Irish Blood, English Heart’, ‘How Soon is Now?’, ‘Girl Afraid’, ‘What She Said’,Everyday Is Like Sunday’, ‘You’re the One for Me, Fatty’, and ‘First of the Gang to Die’, among others.
