Ella Walker, otherwise known as WILDES, has unveiled her glorious new single ‘True Love’ – a track that tells you that no matter your gender, sexuality, age or race; there is somebody out there for you.
WILDES explains: “True Love is about showing someone who feels undeserving of happiness just how deserving they are, and trying to inspire wonder in them again.
“We all have a true love, no matter our gender, sexuality, or race, but sometimes we need to be reminded to cross those boundaries we set for ourselves, fall in love and claim our happiness again”.
Walker’s debut album is out later this year and its themes include relationships and the human condition. She explains: “These songs are a study on relationships – of my own, of my friends and loved ones. The emotional turmoil that goes hand in hand with any investment of the heart; the addiction, the fear, but also the lessons we learn and the love we receive along the way.
“Through writing, I ended up examining my own feelings, my irrationality and my friendships”.
Aged just 22, WILDES has finished her first record which is pencilled for release in autumn 2019.
