Clarence James impresses with new single “Flake”

Clarence James is a producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. The artist lives in Texas and has made waves with his unique musical style and elevated genre-mixing blend. His latest single is called “Flake” and it follows the single “Is It Real?” shared last year.

“Flake” is a showcase of exactly what the artist does best, concocting a delicious dose of psychedelia, pop, Jazz, hip hop, and rock all packaged in an intriguing release. The song is a contemplation on mixed emotions and trying to handle mental health issues while staying present to your loved ones. He confides, “Personally and societally, strong community units are somewhat of a commodity. I personally tend to dwell on it and form bad habits centered around anxiety. These habits far too often lead to self destruction, and it’s important to understand the positive significance of relying on people.” The track is off of his upcoming WHY WOULD I MAKE PEACE WITH THIS DEMON? which promises to explore the idea of oneness even in a world of craziness.

Clarence James is a self taught musician who loves to experiment with an array of sounds and production styles. Known for his deeply raw and open narratives, he has connected with listeners all around the globe.
