  1. DANCING IN THE MOONLIGHT -  KING HARVEST

I came to earth to dance with my best friends to this song! That chorus – you can’t help but sing it at the top of your lungs. On my birthday every year it gets rinsed about 15 times before anyone can tell me to turn it off. If I could only hear one song for the rest of my life it would be this one. The nostalgia and pure joy it song brings me. When I listen I’m brought back to peak moments of happiness with the people I love most.

  1. FOUND YOU – KASBO, CHELSEA CUTLER

This was the first song I had ever heard by Chelsea Cutler, I was totally infatuated with the production and topline. It was my top played song for 2017 and 2018 and one of the reasons I fell in love with vocally driven EDM. Listening to it now brings me back to running on Pacific Beach in college for miles and miles, just so I could keep listening to Chelsea’s music.

  1. YELLOW – COLDPLAY

This song (well, the entire album) reminds me of swimming at night during the summertime with my mom and brother. I grew up listening to Coldplay so it feels like home. I’ve always been inspired by their lyrics and melodies.

  1. FREEZE TAG – TERRACE MARTIN

I found this track a couple weeks ago and it has quickly become one of my all time favorite songs. Everyone I play this song for loves it… just an overall GOOD VIBE. We love groovy basslines and soulful vocals.

  1. SEDONA – SURE SURE

I want to make music with chord progressions and instrumentation as dynamic and original as Sure Sure. The way they do live instruments is so unique and timeless. They embellish the topline with the chords and spacing in this one… It’s so tasteful.

  1. CORDON BLEU – G R I Z

I fell in love with this song during the pandemic – it’s the first song on a playlist I made for rollerblading on the tennis court with Brady (my dog). We spent HOURS there, never missed a day. It was my escape away from the indoors… the best way to start the morning, tap into the muse and move my body. The beat to this song while blading in circles made me feel all time ~main character energy~.

7.WHAT YOU NEED – BAYNK (ft. Nika)

I’ve always loved this song for its plucky and punchy synths and the topline is so pretty! The mix feels really good on my ears. Super fun production, it never gets old. This is one of those tracks I’ll find on my friend’s playlists right after they hear it 🙂

  1. BIRTHDAY – THE SUGARCUBES

My mom has such a crazy collection of CD’s – this is one of the first songs I remember loving. The lead singer’s accent and the dreamy soundscape of the song, something about the way her vocal expression in the hook and how it says so much without any words… As a little kid that really stood out to me.

  1. SIJAH – TRASH PANDA

So Epic! This track is just so sick. They change the tempo of the track as another element of dynamics. Gnarly. It just goes hard and that’s all I have to say. Lyrics are fire too. I just want some cake!

  1. THERE ARE TO KINDS OF PEOPLE – um..

That second drop… ugh I can only imagine what the Ableton session looks like for this song.
