Hey Sarah, welcome to Music Crowns! How are you doing?
Hey! Thanks for having me 🙂 I’m doing great!
Where are you from and what are your favourite things to do there?
I’m from Italy but I moved to London 8 years ago, London is full of different activities so my favourite thing to do always changes, but I love visiting new exhibitions and art galleries with friends!
Your new single ‘Urban Melancholia’ is out now! How are you feeling about it?
I can’t believe it’s really happening! My manager and I have been working on this release for almost 1 year and it’s finally out!
You hold quite a unique style in this one, how would you describe it genre wise?
It’s always been hard for me to define a genre for my music, I try and mix anything that influences me to be able to create a sound that’s only mine. But I would say | fit into the alternative indie pop genre
Who are your biggest inspirations as an artist?
That’s a hard one! Lana del Rey, Emilie Autumn and Arctic Monkeys played a great part into my initial work. Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of Joy Division, Sonic Youth and Halsey, so I think I mixed it all together.
What is on your to-do list for 2023 Sarah?
My first ever Mini Tour in the UK and more music!
Thanks for speaking to us! Anything else you want to add?
Watch this space! My new EP will be out soon and I can’t wait to share it with the world
