Cheryl-Ann is an acoustic singer-songwriter from Derry, Ireland.

‘Sixteen’ is her first original song and is about a real experience from her home town.

Derry has one of the highest suicide rates in the UK and as much as we fight for help, it’s not necessarily readily available.

‘Sixteen’ sees Cheryl-Ann deliver stirring vocals that give life to powerful and heartfelt lyrics.

This song aims to create awareness of the age of people that are taking their own lives.

The story that the song is about is completely true, and the girl was only 16 years of age trying to jump into the river that runs through the town and has taken so many lives.
