When Moons Align are a singer-songwriter duo based in and around Copenhagen, Denmark.
Maria Leonora Kongslev is the primary vocalist and Thomas Kure Jacobsen plays guitar and also sings.
Their music is based upon simple acoustic arrangements which often evolves into more soaring and complex soundscapes, with lyrics that are are quirky, dark, light and everything in between.
In July the duo released ‘Cigarette’, which features a lively but stirring instrumental arrangement from Thomas Kure Jacobsen.
The melodies within ‘Cigarette’ flow alongside the beautiful and emotional vocals of Maria Leonara Kongslev.
