Iyan Leol aka Leol is a music video director and recording artist from Chicago, Illinois.
Released under GHOSTCLIQUE in December 2021, ‘Time’ follows the success of Leol’s previous tracks, such as ‘Savages’, which delivered a toast to ladies who are confident enough to embrace their sensual, seductive alter ego.
‘Time’ delivers smooth vocals in places alongside soulful melodic hooks. Leol’s lyrics talk about how he is unable to find the time to spend with certain people in his life. Centered around a woman who uses the timeless art of sex and seduction to request more of his money and time, Leol shares, “Time is money, and money is time.”
The track features recording artist HRTBRKFEVER, who has been in the music industry for ten years. HRTBRKFEVER previously performed at the Chasing Sounds event in Los Angeles and has worked with Bizness Boi and FRVRFRIDAY.
Whilst producing the track, LEOL stripped away stereotypes while keeping true to his mindset.
