Last year saw young musician Céleste Pierre tragically pass away at the tender age of 13 as a result of a brain infection.
In order to commemorate her passing, the first edition of the French-Egyptian Art Festival took place in February 2025 at Cairo at the foot of the ancient pyramids.
Upon returning to France, they launched the Céleste Pierre Award France association to carry forward the spirit of the festival.
Mr. Pierre Coureu (President of Amitiés Internationales), André Malraux (Paris) and Les Amis de François De Fossa (Perpignan) have graciously agreed to serve as patrons.
The festival’s signature trophy, which is a golden bronze star will honour artists of all ages who have excelled in music, dance, theatre, writing and visual arts.
The event is set to make a return in March 2026.
