TRNSMT to be the replacement T in the Park

With T in the Park taking a break in 2017, TRNSMT will take its place.

Due to site restrictions brought on by a pair of nesting ospreys, which are a protected species. However, it was recently announced that TRNSMT will take place from the 7th to the 9th of July – which is the traditional TITP dates.

The DF Concert run event will be family oriented and will be held in Glasgow Green. The key difference between T in the Park and TRNSMT will be that it is a non camping event.

So far it has been rumoured that Radiohead, Kasabian, and Biffy Clyro will headline the festival. However, fans will be disappointed to hear Liam Gallagher has ruled out playing the festival.

There have been no confirmed acts for TRNSMT, however festival-goes can sign up to their mailing list to get the latest news.
