Australian pop-R&B star EMEREE is riding high after the success of her UK debut Spring Cleaning — and now she’s back with Eyesore, a glittering yet savage breakup anthem that’s impossible to shake. To celebrate the release, EMEREE joins Music Crowns for her very own Top 10, answering our ten burning questions and giving fans a closer look at the artist behind the addictive hooks, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, and razor-sharp vocals.

1. The first album you ever bought?

First album I ever bought was a Hilary Duff CD (I was 6 and I used my birthday money).

2. The weirdest place you’ve ever written a song?

Many times pulled over on the side of a highway! But also in several hostels.

3. Your go-to karaoke song?

Dancing Queen always. Best done as a duet!

4. One thing you must have backstage?

Eyelash glue, vocal steamer, water bottle!

5. If you could duet with anyone, living or dead?

Mariah or Ariana HANDS DOWN!

6. The song that never fails to make you dance?

Love Shack – a family fav

7. Best gig you’ve ever played?

I opened for Budjerah last year and it was an incredible show and my biggest yet!

8. The strangest fan gift you’ve received?

I don’t think I’ve had anything that strange tbh! Stay tuned hahaha.

9. If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

I genuinely don’t think there’s an option where I’m not involved in music but I guess I’d be doing something else creative – I love to craft so I’d have a crazy etsy store.

10. Your dream festival line-up?

Zinadelphia, RAYE, Olivia Dean, (and me obviously).
