HAWD HITTA, Vulture Theory and NoBueno join forces on new single “Synthetic Sands”

Los Angeles-based up and coming electronic DJ/Producer Vulture Theory teams up with HAWD HITTA, NoBueno on his latest house collab “SYNTHETIC SANDS” released on SEARCHPRTY RECORDS. ‘SYNTHETIC SANDS’ is dropping during peak festival season, & these artists have come together perfectly on this track to deliver the tune needed for the mainstage this summer.

Vulture Theory, also known as Dustin DePalama-Shields, began with the idea. He says “I tossed over the idea to HAWD HITTA, who quickly thought of the half-time introduction and made a phone call to NoBueno. The two came together on a few other elements and then us three worked on it from there.

We got to chat with the producers around the release of their new hit “Synthetic Sands”.

Vulture Theory, how would you describe your style and sound? What does “Synthetic Sands” mean to you?

Vulture Theory: My style is definitely upbeat and sometimes can carry a dark tone to it, but really it’s meant to be dance driven, house type production that can encourage shuffle syndrome” says Vulture Theory.

HAWD HITTA, having charted on iTunes and toured extensively, how does “Synthetic Sands” contribute to your already established success?

HAWD HITTA: I see ‘SYNTHETIC SANDS’ as another great move towards a mainstage sound which has been my primary goal as of late when working with other artists. I feel as if we are in a great position to make moves globally as we plan out more songs. Grateful that God has given us chances to chart and tour and I’m feeling like this song is a step in that direction

NoBueno, as a DJ, producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist, how do you incorporate your diverse skills into the creation of “Synthetic Sands”?

NoBueno: Half-time was definitely my thing here, and I know that it’s really great to see the three of us come together here and find this as the transition to the second build up/drop. It’s really refreshing to see an open mind in the other producers to allow me to lay that down on the track.

How does the chemistry between the three of you translate into the energy and vibe of the track?

Vulture Theory: We all get along, and we all have good communication to get things done. We have more songs in the work.

In what ways does “Synthetic Sands” reflect your artistic visions and aspirations?

HAWD HITTA: We found that it really captures the idea of the dance and shuffle aspects of songs, especially ones that use vocals over the drops in a way that make it more dynamic and we just wanted to have fun with it really.

Can you share any insights into the future direction of your individual careers and potential future collaborations?

Vulture Theory: Robert Didier ‘Meylan’ and HAWD HITTA and myself have some upcoming projects that we plan to hear live during HAWD HITTA’s closing set after Borgeous at Academy LA (6/17/23).
