Q&A with rising artist UV Rose

We got to chat with rising artist UV Rose around the release of her latest single “Living Life”.

Your artist name, UV Rose, stands for UltraVibe. Can you elaborate on what this name represents and how it connects to your music and persona?
– Ultra vibe represents me because in real life I carry a unique form of energy and vibe not many people are inherited with. I noticed that any where I went people gravitated to me on a different level. I’ll walk into crowd with all eyes on me, Im the light that everyone is looking for. The music I bring into this world has so much power, vibe and energy. My voice speaks for itself!
Can you tell us about the inspiration behind your latest single, “Living Life”? What motivated you to create this energetic and uplifting track?
– I was going through hard times and one day god spoke to me and said “you are meant to be on this earth, your gifts are powerful & the world needs to hear your testimony about life” that morning I was in my car and began free-styling.
Overall, life is what motivates me to create any type of music so I can connect to others.
“Living Life” carries a positive message about embracing life’s joys and leaving negativity behind. What message do you hope listeners take away from this song?
– I want everyone to know that it’s okay to stumble upon obstacles throughout life but you must prevail and fight if you want to succeed to the next level. Never doubt yourself of the gifts god has blessed you with. Continue shining and don’t let negative thoughts or people hinder your growth & happiness.
Could you share some insights into your creative process when it comes to songwriting and music production?
– When it comes to songwriting, I don’t force it. Words usually come to me when the time is right. There’s another voice in my mind telling me what to say and how to express it. I usually have my own producer, I will provide my vision of the sound and my producer executes it. Then, I’ll record it professionally at recording studio and have it mixed and mastered.
How do you bring your ideas to life in your music?
– I’m a work of art, ideas flow to me constantly it’s just up to me to create a beautiful image to carry out in my music.
You’ve been pursuing your dream of becoming a music artist since a young age. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced, and how have you overcome them on your path to success?
– I have to say, finding a Mixing Engineer to bring out my vocals has been the most challenging throughout my music career. Also, dealing with family members who never supported the direction I was headed. I knew from a young age I was meant to be a super star. Over time, I had to overcome the fear and follow the path god was guiding me on.

– Rihanna, Nicki Minaj & Whitney Houston
