Addley shares the glow of debut EP ‘We Can Talk For Hours’

Known for his mesmerising depictions of life’s highs and lows, Addley brings a unique take to the alternative sound. Blending a pulsating honesty with rich electronica, he brings a hazy glow to the Liverpool scene.

For his latest release, Addley tops off his debut EP with the title track ‘We Can Talk For Hours’. Intertwining the ups and downs of teaser singles, ‘Blue & Gold’, ‘Say It Anyway’ and ‘Take Me Home’, the artist seeks to set the stage. The momentous opener is some of his most dance-influenced music to date, the lightly shuffling breaks and incessant bass pump raining golden confetti on the listener, readying them for a set of emotive tracks.

Silky, authentic and unique, Addley uses the EP to pour out his emotion, leaving no stone unturned as he moves through the joy and the heartbreak. In his own words, Addley describes, “This EP is a collection of songs written with a dance floor in mind and they’re mostly about escapism, desire and loneliness. The songs here are confessional, in some ways obvious and others not, but cathartic, showing how nightlife, dance floors & all that comes with it has been a release for me – sometimes in an unhealthy way.”
